Maquenque Costa Rica Eco Lodge is ideal for lovers of nature. We are strategically located within Maquenque National Wildlife Refuge, bordering the San Carlos River. We have 14 bungalows of approximately 45 m2, equipped with: hot water (via solar panels), private bathroom, ceiling fan, closet, balcony with a beautiful view of the lagoon, where you can relax in a hammock with a book or just enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. Our lodge has 68 acres of tropical rainforest, within which we have trails for you to enjoy alone or with one of our guides. There is a great variety of flora and fauna, making this the perfect place for bird lovers. Currently, we have identified more than 410 species of birds, including the Great Green Macaw (Ara ambiguus) and Scarlet Macaw (Ara Macao).
